43 HAGELAND MOVES AHEAD: USING THE 'KLIMAAT-MOBIEL' (CLIMATE MOBILE HOME) TO REDUCE ENERGY POVERTY

Since March 2018, the “Klimaat-Mobiel” (Climate Mobile Home) is touring through the Hageland. The “Klimaat-Mobiel” is an initiative of IGS Hartje Hageland and De Kringwinkel Hageland and will stop in Bekkevoort, Glabbeek, Kortenaken, Lubbeek and Tielt-Winge. Residents can go to this specially equipped mobile home with all their questions about housing and will be given information and support about energy saving, renovation and sustainable living.
In the future, municipal authorities, Public Centres for Social Welfare and inter-municipal residential information points all over the Hageland will also be able to take advantage of the “Klimaat-Mobiel”.
The “Klimaat-Mobiel” (Climate Mobile Home) was officially inaugurated on Monday 26 March 2018 in the presence of representatives from Bekkevoort, Glabbeek, Kortenaken, Lubbeek and Tielt-Winge and Councillor Monique Swinnen.
