16 TOUR OF THE 'SAPMOBIEL': APPLE JUICE MADE IN THE OWN REGION Zuid-Hageland
By organizing 3 local press days, within the scope of ‘Regionaal Landschap Zuid-Hageland’ (RLZH) [Regional Landscape South Hageland], this project intends to refamiliarize the residents with the products having characterized our region for decades. This way, RLZH specifically wants to stimulate the recovery of meadow orchards (by motivating private individuals to plant meadow trees themselves) and – more generally – to raise the consciousness for the cultural-historical and rural patrimony of the region. Moreover, this project will increase the amenity value of tourism and social engagement in the village centres.
