28 RENOVATION OF THE CONNECTING WALL OF THE VISITORS CENTRE AT RUFFERDINGE

Landen

The city of Landen owns the Rufferdinge visitors’ centre, used as a reception centre and meeting place for tourists and visitors. This centre disposes of a restored grain mill building and some renovated outbuildings. The connecting wall between the mill and the outbuildings is in poor condition. This wall has been protected as village heritage, but not as a monument. Therefore, no specific funding can be obtained. The aim is to renovate this wall and to restore it to its former condition, so that it can constitute a harmonic entity again.
