31 FOCUS ON A VILLAGE Hoegaarden
KVLV Outgaarden (a Flemish association for women in Outgaarden) wanted to celebrate its 50th anniversary by organizing an art route which would launch a permanent structure to highlight the village of Outgaarden. This art route has been developed in collaboration with the tourist information centre and is embedded in the rich heritage of Outgaarden. In the courtyards of farms, in historic buildings and in gardens, artists can exhibit and KVLV departments of the entire Leader area are invited to show their artworks or to give demonstrations. To make sure that Outgaarden will never be forgotten, a walking brochure has been developed, which will also remain available after this event.
