67 SIGNALISATION MINOR ROADS AND FOOTPATHS

Tielt-Winge

The accessibility of many minor roads and footpaths is currently unclear. The accessibility and thus the use of these roads will increase if they are signalised. A uniform singalisation across the province will indicate clearly which roads may be walked. Tourism Flemish Brabant will also place the same signboards that are used for  the hiking network Hageland Hills in amongst others the communities of Tielt-Winge and Holsbeek.

The community of Tielt-Winge wants to make the minor roads and footpaths that are accessible visible to the public by means of singboards.

After many efforts by the community of Holsbeek to open its minor roads and footpaths to the public, the community wants to stimulate the use of them by signalising them. The community also wants to signalise  the roads that are not part of the hiking network (that is already signalised by Tourism Flemish Brabant).
