HAGELANDSE GORDEL: EDUCATIONAL AND RECREATIONAL CYCLING EVENTHageland+
Organization of an interactive, educational and recreational cycling event in the central villages of the Hageland+ region. The aim is to promote the regional identity of the Hageland. In a playful way, each participant can discover the unexpected landscape elements along small, preprogrammed routes. In different places, agricultural products and regional delicacies can be tasted. These farms provide an educational program concerning the local company structure, as well as a contest for children and a quiz. The residents of the Hageland organize this event by themselves, but they can count on the local divisions of the ‘Landelijke Gilden’ (rural guilds).
