91 WAANRODE, A FLOWER VILLAGE WITH ROSESKortenaken
This project intends to replace some obsolete flower beds and to create some new beds along verges a.o. For the development and maintenance works, volunteers and the workers of the ‘Culturele Dorpsraad vzw’ will be relied on. This way, the administration of the ‘Culturele Dorpsraad vzw Waanrode’ hopes to further highlight the village as a village of flowers - but also of roses - and to contribute to the Hageland’s touristic image. All rose beds will get a plate mentioning the name of the rose, allowing visitors to better discover these roses and to appreciate their diversity.
