12 INTER-MUNICIPAL VOLUNTEER NETORK FOR PLAYGROUPSGeetbets
The municipalities of Geetbets, Kortenaken, Linter, Glabbeek and Bekkevoort have a playgroup service organised by volunteer monitors. It is sometimes difficult to find a good team of monitors in the different municipalities , and above all to keep them. Extra support for the monitors and a good all-year round operation can contribute to an efficient volunteer service. The cooperative venture has focused in the first instance on a training and team-building weekend with exchanges and should lead to joint bookings for workshops, materials, sharing transport, etc.
