14 BOST MEETING CENTRETienen
In 2016 the town of Tienen has renovated the parish hall of Bost and converted it into a fully functioning meeting centre for local associations and the De Toermalijn district school. The main hall has been increased to 175m2 making it suitable for different activities. Behind it is now a counter and on the ground floor the toilet facilities, the kitchen, a separate meeting room, storage room and a changing room for drama societies. The town aims to use these investments to promote social activities in Bost and encourage the people of Bost to take an active part in all types of activities that will benefit the social fibre in this district.
