The objective of the Speelpleinwerking (Playground Operation) Dassenaarde was to enhance the local community centre by installing outdoor furniture and playground equipment. The aim was to ensure safe and decent facilities are available in the playground during the holidays for instance. This facility reaches a relatively large number of children from less well-to-do families, so that they can also benefit from a fun and quality summer holiday.
