6 STIKKIE SEWING WORKSHOPTienen
KVLV Tienen Region has, in cooperation with a number of local partners - BOM (Bewust Om Mensen), Erminerm (foundation against poverty), Landelijke Kinderopvang (National Childcare) for the Tienen Region, OCMW (Public Centre for Social Welfare), Kringwinkel Hageland, the Huis van het Kind Tienen, Landelijke Thuiszorg (Maternity Care) – drawn disadvantaged women from their state of isolation, introducing them to other mothers at creative, easily accessible sewing and creative workshops. (Everything is possible, nothing is compulsory, sewing, crocheting, creating with kids, etc.) The workshops are easily accessible (free of charge), women can bring their children with them to carry out activities together. The goal is to make the women stronger. Coordination is provided by KVLV volunteers. The workshops take place at BOM, Erminerm or at Min (Mensen in Nood).
