62 'BIJ ONS THUIS KLEURT HET HAGELAND' (A WARM WELCOME FOR ALL IN THE HAGELAND)

"Bij ons thuis kleurt het Hageland" (A Warm Welcome for All in The Hageland) is about offering a warm place for refugees who have just completed a tough journey and who often end up in the Hageland by coincidence. Newcomers who need the hospitality and support of many people to help them feel at home in the Hageland.

The project is about friendly people who open their doors to these newcomers and help them learn the Flemish customs and traditions. From patient people learning to master the difficult Dutch language, to those who help looking for a place to live, or help finding a good job or obtaining a Belgian driving license.

Support is needed for the creation of a new refugee house that offers newcomers a place to go and where driving lessons for refugees can be organised and where volunteers can help these people move forward.
