The municipality of Bierbeek wants to convert the Bremt Chapel that is under a long lease into a multifunctional facility that can be used by the community and local associations. The repurposing of the chapel will create an intergenerational meeting place that is currently lacking and that can become the heart of village life.
The repurposed chapel will thus function as a catalyst for strengthening the community as well as for cultural activities of local associations and as a start and finish point for tourist walks and cycling tours.
