The aim of the “Tuin van Verstilling” (Garden of Stillness) is to offer visitors a place where they can find physical and inner peace and silence; something that is essential in the hectic times we live in. This garden will be created in the vicarage garden of Waanrode. Rest places will be installed at different spots where visitors can enjoy the silence. There will also be signs with all kinds of texts relating to 'silence' and 'peace'. The combination of 'silence' and 'peace' will invite visitors to discover the inner peace they seek. The garden will be a public domain and thus freely accessible to everyone.
