The Nature Educational Trail created by the joint project partners “Regionaal Landschap Noord-Hageland” (Regional Landscape North-Hageland), the municipality Tielt-Winge and Tourism Flemish-Brabant is an upgrade to an existing loop on the Hagelandse Heuvels hiking network. In the first instance a passage through the Winge valley will be made accessible to various target groups such as the disabled and families with small children thanks to the construction of a boardwalk. Children will find a number of entertaining challenges along the trail. Walkers will also be able to learn about the environment thanks to an audio tool.
