Promoting inclusiveness and caring within the communities of Wezemaal and Sint-Pieters-Rode through activities around 'Camping Switch'.
With Camping Switch, an intiative of 'De Switch' and 'Centrum Molenmoes', De Wissel is starting up a caring community in Wezemaal and Sint-Pieters-Rode. Inclusive and caring communities are created by meeting through gatherings. By getting to know each other, meaningful connections can be made that can be further connected into a broad network.
Young people, their families and friends, counsellors, volunteers, neighbours, neighbourhood associations, local businesses and the municipality of Rotselaar work together for six months to set up a small-scale pop-up campsite at Centrum Molenmoes in Wezemaal during the week of 12 August 2024. Camping places will be offered, as well as family-oriented activities and a summer bar with entertaining activities.
