15 RENOVATION FACILITY AREA OF PARISH CENTRE ST. BERNARD LUBBEEK

This investment project includes the renovation of the facilities of the Saint Bernard parish centre in Lubbeek. The toilets from the 1960s will be relocated and expanded with facilities for the disabled. The kitchen will be enlarged and modernised, with part of the corridor joining the kitchen for extra space. The main entrance will be integrated into the hall and can also be used as a meeting room. In the main hall, windows will be enlarged and a new glass emergency door installed for more light and security. The existing wooden staircase will be replaced by a stone staircase, and a new space above the kitchen and toilets will be created to serve as a cafeteria. Finally, floors, roofs and walls will be insulated and heat pumps installed for heating. These renovations will improve the functionality, safety and sustainability of the parish centre.
