The non-profit organisation In de Heerlijckheid wants to build a wood-fired oven on the former parsonage site in Vissenaken as a hub for socialising, craftsmanship and local cooperation. The oven will replace the historic one that used to be part of the square farmstead and will be open to local residents, associations, other oven managers, entrepreneurs and volunteers. It will strengthen the existing activities of the soup café, the summer bar and the winter event and enable year-round activities and short chain initiatives. The courtyard will become a shared baking and learning space where knowledge, stories and traditions are passed on. Thanks to volunteer work, recycled materials and local partners, Heerlijck warm Vissenaken is a sustainable investment with lasting added value for the village.
