This project aims to bring the forgotten history of the Battle of Neerwinden (1693) back into the spotlight as a source of hope and solidarity. The emphasis is not on destruction, but on the resilience of the villages that revived afterwards and rebuilt their agriculture, community and identity. Every year, a historical camp is organised, which is both a neighbourhood party and a farmers' market, in collaboration with local associations, schools and producers. In addition, educational walks and guided tours are offered throughout the year for schools, associations and groups. In this way, heritage becomes a means of bringing people together, making them proud of their region and fostering a new sense of community.
