STIJN vzw builds a canopy next to day centre De Binder so that care users, relatives, neighbours and visitors can enjoy the terrace, garden and view more often. The sheltered outdoor space protects users from wind, rain and strong sun and supports the social function of Groenhoef Café in summer. The green roof adds cooling and biodiversity value. The project strengthens the site as an accessible meeting place where care, the rural surroundings and the local community come together.
